Tea or Coffee?
Okay,
So this is an argument that has lasted for centuries but which one do you prefer?
I make both Coffee and Tea on a daily basis for my boss and colleagues but I don’t drink either regularly. I prefer Coffee but have stopped drinking it due to my diet. The amount of sugar I need in Coffee certainly makes it very unhealthy.

Explanation to Blog name.
Rail The Rant - What does this mean?
For those of you not familiar with much poker ‘lingo’, the word Rail means to watch or support someone. Innuendos are rife in Poker, it’s true. The phrase, ‘Im going to rail you’ subsequently means that ‘Im going to watch/ support you’, nothing else.
So ‘Rail The Rant’ means that I just simply want you to come and support my ‘Rant’ in the form of a blog. Or just watch.
Short blog post here but I just thought that I should clear that up. I’m probably going to post a blog about ‘poker terminology’ for all to read. Even those who aren’t interested in Poker.
Anyway, feel free to share the blog. The more the merrier, so they say.
I hope you’re all enjoying the snow! Personally, I just want it to either snow again really heavily or just stop and melt.

Yes or Snow?
Snow.
Some people absolutely love it. Some people hate it.
Personally, I love it at Christmas but, today, as we’re in February, i’m not too keen on it. I can’t really be bothered with the snow and as I discussed with my girlfriend earlier, we both think it’s about time to warm up to be perfectly honest. Granted, it is a pain to drive in, as I experienced for the first time today but that’s fine by me. Also, I absolutely hate it when the snow turns into slush. I think snow should either fall very heavily or not at all.
That’s just my opinion, but what do you think of snow?

Childhood films
Films are undeniably very important in a lot of people’s lives. The concept of sitting there and watching something that has little to do with us and watch a story unfold as if it were real life is a strange one but instantly grabs peoples attentions. Everyone has a ‘film of their childhood’ whether it be a totally unknown film or one of the major series’ of film such a Harry Potter or Star Wars.
This post was inspired by a conversation with a friend on Twitter that got me thinking. Harry Potter, Star Wars and Lord of the Rings have all changed the film industry in one way or another. Harry Potter is a stunning read (So, i’ve heard) and beautifully produced and I would go so far as to say that in 50-75 years time, it could even be on exam papers just as Shakespeare is now. I also know many people who would agree with me on that. I just wondered which one of the three was your favourite as I believe 90%+ of the UK population will have a favourite and it will have changed their views on things over the years.
Originally, I wasn’t going to include Star Wars but felt I had to because of the impact and fan base that it has around the world. I would argue that, worldwide, Star Wars is the biggest franchise but that Harry Potter is slowly catching up. Lord of the Rings has nowhere near as many fans as the before mentioned but I still believe that there are many die hard Lord of the Rings fans.
Personally, I am a huge Lord of the Rings fans and whilst the other two contain many of my favourite movies of all time, I was always drawn to Lord of the Rings as a child and this will stay with me forever. I recently purchased the Extended Edition Lord of the Rings box set and watched the trilogy, which is over 13 hours, and absolutely loved it. I 100% recommend it for any die hard Lord of the Rings fans that are dying to know what didn’t make it to the final cut for the cinemas/ first DVDs.
